Online Student Scholarship
As a fully online student, you are a member of the Southern Miss family. From student services to study abroad, you have access to the same student services, and that includes scholarships! That is why we made the Online Student Scholarship, which is available to undergraduate and graduate students. There are many scholarship opportunities for you through our Golden Opportunities Scholarship and Competitive Awards Application. But there is a scholarship reserved just for you, our online student!
This one-time $500 scholarship is awarded to two undergraduate and two graduate USM students with a GPA of at least 2.5 for their first semester. To be considered for the Online Student Scholarship, you must apply before one week prior to the start of the semester.
