The online Sport Coaching Education degree program is designed for students who work and want to go to school part-time. We offer two courses a semester (fall, spring, summer), with the goal of each student graduating in two years.

You must enroll in at least 12 credit hours in order to have full-time status in the spring and fall semesters and at least 9 credit hours in order to have full-time status in the summer semester for the online Sport Coaching Education degree.
Yes, you’ll start and end classes on the same date as the in-person students do.
No, none of the classes in the online Sport Coaching Education degree program have face-to-face requirements.
It is up to the instructor of a course if exams require a proctor. You should always read the content in the syllabus and on-line course site to determine if a proctor is needed. There is an application that must be completed at least 15 days prior to taking an exam.

In addition to the requirements detailed in Admissions Requirements and Procedures, applicants must submit the following documents:
- Official scores from one of the following standardized exams – Graduate Record Exam (GRE), Praxis II: Physical Education Content Knowledge (5091), Praxis II: Principles of Learning and Teaching (PLT), ACSM/NPAS Physical Activity in Public Health Specialist (scores and proof of certification), or ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist (scores and proof of certification).
