Please send a copy of your transcript to mba@usm.edu for review. If you do need a prerequisite, you can satisfy the requirement on the undergraduate or graduate level. We offer an online graduate certificate program in business foundations, and one of the four courses can be used to meet the accounting prerequisite.

Admission Requirements

There is currently no GRE requirement for this program. 

The College of Business and Economic Development offers the Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.

The goal of the Master of Business Administration is to prepare students for management roles in organizations. The purpose of the program is to prepare the graduate with decision-making knowledge, abilities, and tools across the functional areas of business operations in a global economy.

Admission Requirements

In addition to adhering to the Admission Requirements and Procedures, the master’s program applicant must:

    1. Have completed ACC 200 (or the equivalent) with a grade of B or better
    2. Resume
    3. Statement of Purpose
    4. Submit a cover letter addressed to the Graduate Programs Admission Committee
    5. Three letters of recommendation from academic and/or professional sources (No personal sources.)
