FINANCIAL AID TUITION PAYMENT DEADLINES: FAFSA DUE JUNE 30

Southern Miss students, things you need to know about tuition and fee payment:

1) FAFSA deadline to use financial aid to pay tuition and fees for FaLL:

If you are planning on using financial aid to pay your tuition and fees, you must have your FAFSA completed by the Southern Miss deadline.

June 30: Last day to turn in FAFSA documentation (including verification) in order for your financial award to be considered in your payment calculation for Fall .

2) Payment plan for students who miss the JUNE 30 FAFSA deadline or are not using financial aid to pay tuition and fees:

For students who miss the June 30 FAFSA deadline or do not use financial aid, Southern Miss has an installment payment plan. Be sure you keep up with the payment schedule, view the Southern Miss payment policy.

3) Payment deadline:

Fall student balance (institutional charges minus anticipated financial aid) must be paid in full or enroll in the payment plan with the first payment due upon enrollment, according to Southern Miss important financial dates.

From Southern Miss Business Services:

The university requires payment prior to the semester start date of each term. Class schedules for students who fail to meet the payment deadline of June 30, for the Fall semester will be subject to cancellation.
